Working throughout the New York City Metro region, SGA’s experience with New York State’s Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) program is extensive. For Newtown Creek, located at the nexus of Brooklyn and Queens Boroughs, SGA, served as the lead brownfields specialists as well as assistant project managers. The multidisciplinary team hired by the BOA Partners; a coalition consisting of a joint initiative of the Greenpoint Manufacturing and Design Center (GMDC), Riverkeeper, and the Newtown Creek Alliance.
