SGA served as landscape architect and site planning lead for Somerset Trust Company’s Hempfield Hub Office, a new regional banking facility developed on a challenging former mine site in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. SGA led the site layout, grading, circulation, and land development strategy, coordinating closely with engineering partners to address steep topography, complex geotechnical conditions, and substantial retaining structures. The project required early advancement of site permits, easements, and PennDOT right‑of‑way approvals to support construction phasing. Sustainable site design elements, including bioretention, permeable paving, and integrated outdoor amenity spaces, were incorporated to enhance performance, resilience, and user experience.
