Senior Project Planner

Jenna Wargo is the new Senior Project Planner at Stromberg-Garrigan & Associates in our Pittsburgh Office. She is trained as an urban planner and graphic designer, and brings an artistic sensibility to the physical, social, and environmental aspects of her projects.

Jenna spent the last seven years working in local government in State College, PA, most recently as the Director of Planning & Zoning for Ferguson Township. Before that, she was the Senior Planner for the Redevelopment Authority at the Borough of State College. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Art & Design from the University of Louisville and a Master of Environmental Planning & Design from the University of Georgia. Jenna earned a certificate from Cornell University in Commercial Real Estate giving her the knowledge and skills to understand integral components of the business to give her the ability to develop successful real estate projects.

Jenna’s passion for economic development and redevelopment—moving jobs closer, enabling vibrant, mixed-use communities, and restoring the historic fabric of places is what drives her. She wants to build healthy economies in order to have healthy communities. Jenna joined the CrossFit community in 2016 and is a CrossFit coach, she volunteers her time as a Board of Director on the Centre County Housing & Land Trust. She grew up in Lewisburg, PA and is excited to be able to continue to help communities not just in Pennsylvania, but across the country.
