Project Planner

Jill Schoenfeld is a Project Planner based in SGA’s Jenkintown office, where she brings a versatile background in urban planning, community development, and stakeholder engagement. A Connecticut native turned proud Philadelphian, Jill’s career spans public, private, and nonprofit sectors, with experience navigating complex planning environments and cross-sector collaboration.

Before joining SGA, Jill advised university and municipal clients on facility programming and large-scale mixed-use development strategies. Her prior roles include conducting economic research for Washington, D.C.’s Economic Partnership; supporting real estate planning and grant compliance at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation; serving as a community liaison and scheduler for a New York State Assemblymember; and contributing to resilience planning and real estate analysis at a New York–based consulting firm.

Jill holds a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Secondary Field in Spanish from Harvard University. Outside the office, she enjoys discovering new corners of the city with her bernedoodle, Rocky.
