Melanie Miller

Landscape Designer

Melanie comes to SGA as a Landscape Designer and is a transplant from the prairie landscapes of Indiana. After working for 2 years in her home state, Melanie moved to the beautiful and historic hills of eastern Pennsylvania. She graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture and a minor in philosophy. For her, landscape design is a perfect balance between design and data analysis, and she loves that she gets to engage both sides of her brain every day. In her undergraduate studies, she took a specific interest in how landscape design impacts the health and wellness of people and communities, as well as an interest in environmental ethics. She is passionate about providing designs that benefit communities as well as the land, making brownfield redevelopment a perfect intersection of her specific interests.

When Melanie is not working, you can find her firmly planted at her pottery wheel, perusing local shops, or walking and training her dog.
