Tamar Nativ
Project Planner
Tamar Nativ is a Project Planner in SGA’s Jenkintown office, bringing over a decade of experience as an urban designer and planner. Her portfolio spans intimate neighborhood infill to large-scale master plans that shape how communities grow and connect.
With a Master of City Planning and an Urban Design concentration from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tel Aviv University, Tamar bridges public- and private-sector perspectives. In the mid-Atlantic region, she gained extensive experience in residential and mixed-use land development. Her public-sector work as a design planner contributed to master plans, comprehensive plans, and transit-oriented districts—each grounded in inclusive community engagement. Earlier in her career, she specialized in preservation planning, integrating historic sites and archaeological resources into contemporary urban contexts.
Tamar’s design philosophy centers on creating vibrant public spaces that foster everyday connections. Her approach builds on existing contexts while responding to community needs—transforming constraints into opportunities for meaningful placemaking. In her free time, Tamar enjoys spending time outdoors, riding her bike, and hiking with her family.
