Landscape Architecture

SGA’s Landscape Architecture studio is focused on site development and public infrastructure, with an emphasis on infill development in urban contexts. We have extensive experience in site civil design and the land development permitting and approval process. Project work includes site feasibility analysis, layout planning, and grading design, as well as public infrastructure projects ranging from parking facilities and streetscapes, to stormwater and flood management. A major focus of our work is the planning, design, construction, and management of green infrastructure solutions, including retrofitting older sites that are now unable to cope with more frequent and intensive storm events. SGA primarily works for public sector clients including local governments, regional planning entities, and other governmental agencies and authorities. Much of our work is focused on attracting private development investment through constructed amenities such as transportation infrastructure, parks, public spaces, and waterfronts. We work closely with our clients to develop viable and accessible solutions that transform community liabilities into treasured assets.
