A special emphasis of the session will relate to the redevelopment of urban and brownfields sites. Concern about sediment and nutrients in waterways is driving cities and states to adopt more stringent stormwater management regulations, especially within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed where SGA is currently working on a U.S. EPA Area-Wide Planning Brownfields Pilot Project.
