SGA was retained by the Borough of Monaca to develop a comprehensive site master plan for the rehabilitation of Antoline Park. The master planning project included an evaluation of all of the park’s existing facilities including pavilions, restrooms, play equipment, paths, parking, stormwater management/drainage, utilities and vegetation. In accordance with this plan, the new Antoline Park Pavilion replaces a previous structure on the site, and provides park visitors with new concession and restroom facilities, and an open air picnic area. The pavilion has a double pitch green roof which slopes in an upward sweeping gesture, opening the pavilion towards the main portion of the park. The pavilion has also been designed with the potential of a future addition in mind for a pumphouse area for the equipment for the spray pad which is also part of the master plan.

The pavilions project was funded by PADCNR for final design and construction. SGA performed all aspects of the design of this facility.
