Norfolk Thrive and Harbor Park are highlights of the 2019 Virginia Brownfields Conference taking place in the heart of Downtown Norfolk. Along with SGA’s impressive booth display, a scale model has been placed in the lobby for the Norfolk community and visitors of the conference.
SGA constructed this scale model as its own independent effort to facilitate greater public knowledge and understanding of the issues and opportunities for the area. Along with SGA’s site renderings, a physical 3D model can help simplify the intricate challenges and changes proposed to Harbor Park and the Downtown area in a way that viewers can identify and recognize with ease. SGA spent more than 200 man hours in model construction alone.
The model will have a short stay on display, but can be seen in Slover Library from July 24th-25th.
