Jazmine Danci from the Downriver Community Conference (DCC) was interviewed last Thursday to promote the unified regional communities of River Rouge, Ecorse, Wyandotte, Riverview and Trenton as they embark on a new economic development effort to redevelop former industrial sites in the area. Ms. Danci explains that residents should come out to the two open houses this week to have a say in what happens to these sites. The strategic planning will include the public input for the corridor redevelopment and along the riverfront for the industrial sites.
