Originally designed by Joseph and Joseph Architects and Engineers in the 1950’s, the building is largely unused, with only a small portion actively used as part of the waste management process. Stromberg/Garrigan and Associates is involved with the Architecture and Engineering Assessment Report, which examines the method of construction of the building, current condition of the structure, code implications, and other factors of its reuse. In addition to the services provided by SGA, ICF International is conducting a Historic Resource Evaluation that evaluates the building and site for eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places.
