Harbor West Community Gathering Place from the Norfolk Area-Wide Plan was featured in the recent release of “Experience Norfolk” – a residents’ and visitors’ booklet that covers major projects, developments, and events in the area.

SGA’s render can be found on Page 10 under “Resilience,” where citizens can read about how the City is utilizing Brownfields funding to restore and redevelop multiple locations in the downtown area. The featured image is a conceptual visualization of a pop-up community engagement area at Harbor Park, demonstrating how the waterfront can expand from Waterside District to the Norfolk Tides Baseball Stadium in an inviting and attractive way.

The booklets are only available at community events and meetings, and specific businesses in the area. However, the booklet can be viewed online by visiting the Norfolk Office of Economic Development’s website.
